Tottenham Hotspur may have received a massive boost in the race to sign Crystal Palace attacking midfielder Eberechi Eze.
Spurs will play in the Champions League next season after winning the Europa League, and they are looking to attract top players, including Eze.
Manchester United and Bayern Munich have been linked with a move for Eze in recent weeks, with Bild reporting earlier this month that the German giants have considered him as one of their key targets.

Bayern wanted to spend big money on Florian Wirtz this summer, but it appears that the Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder will move to Liverpool instead.
Eze would cost around £60m, plus £8m in bonuses. He has a contract at Selhurst Park until 2027 and is seen as a cheaper alternative to Wirtz.
Christian Falk has told CFBayern that Eze is not the top target for Bayern. The German giants are looking to sign a left winger this summer, and they are checking on several options. Bayern are in talks with several players’ camps, including Eze.
The England international primarily plays as a central attacking midfielder. Bayern already have Jamal Musiala in that position, and as a result, they have cooled their interest in him.
Smart decision from Bayern; Eze boost for Tottenham?
Man Utd see Eze as a perfect fit, as per ESPN, as they are keen to land him.
However, they could face strong competition from Tottenham. Spurs could submit a substantial player-plus-cash offer to lure the 26-year-old midfielder away from Selhurst Park.
Eze has been one of the key players for the Eagles under Oliver Glasner. He scored in the FA Cup final against Manchester City and helped the club win the prestigious competition.
While Eze is a brilliant midfielder, it makes little sense for Bayern to spend in the north of £68m for him, especially when they desperately need to bolster other areas of the pitch.
Signing Eze as an alternative to Wirtz would have been a terrible business move for Bayern. The door is now open for Spurs or Man Utd to sign the Palace midfielder.
