‘Decision made’Bruno Fernandes’final Al-Hilal call has a hidden message to Man Utd as well

Manchester United’s unexpected transfer saga of the summer centering around Bruno Fernandes has reached a conclusion according to Fabrizio Romano.

Al-Hilal came into the picture with insane figures the likes of which have proven to be very difficult to turn down for many European elite.

They were even willing to break the trend and give a high transfer fee to Manchester United as well in an effort to test their resolve.

Fabrizio Romano now says that the final decision has been made by Fernandes after his agent spoke to Al-Hilal.

Bruno Fernandes Al-Hilal decision made

Fernandes’ exit would have hit close to home since he’s one of the most reliable players in the Man Utd squad, something which Ruben Amorim has stressed repeatedly.

However, at the same time, the figures that were being thrown around were too insane to blame Fernandes for leaving, or United for accepting.

However, Romano has now said that Fernandes has made his final decision to reject Al-Hilal’s proposal and continue playing at a ‘top level’ in Europe.

Romano said that Fernandes did indeed receive a ‘crazy proposal’ from the Saudi Pro League club but his competitive flame hasn’t been extinguished yet.

Bruno Fernandes’ decision has hidden message to Man Utd

It is interesting to note that in this exclusive from Romano, there is no mention of Fernandes wanting to continue at Old Trafford out of some loyalty.

Instead, it sends a message that Fernandes wants to continue playing at a top level in Europe, which means that it doesn’t necessarily have to be at Man Utd.

Amorim and the decision-makers at United should receive this message loud and clear that Fernandes wants United to compete for titles soon as he’s already 30.

He has made it known in that message from Romano that he isn’t rejecting Al-Hilal’s proposal to play for Man Utd, but to play at the top level in Europe.

Now it is up to Man Utd to raise their level so it matches Fernandes’ ambitions. He might look elsewhere in Europe otherwise.
