Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has reportedly rejected a move to the Saudi Pro League.
The 30-year-old had been offered an eye-watering £800,000-per-week contract by Al Hilal as they looked to land a marquee signing before the Club World Cup.
Fernandes was mulling over accepting the lucrative offer and moving to the Middle East during United's post-season tour of Asia last week. His agent was also in Riyadh for talks with Al Hilal bosses.
But according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Fernandes has rejected the proposal and wants to continue playing in Europe.
Fernandes remains under contract at Old Trafford until the summer of 2027, with the club holding the option to extend his deal by a further 12 months.

Following United's Europa League final defeat to Tottenham, Fernandes was asked about his future with the Red Devils not in any European competition next season.
"I have always been honest. I've always said I will be here until the club says to me that it's time to go," he said. "I'm eager to do more, to be able to bring the club the great days.
"In the day that the club thinks that I'm too much or it's time to part ways, football is like this, you never know it. But I've always said it and I keep my word in the same way.
"If the club thinks it's time to part ways because they want to do some cashing in or whatever, it's what it is, and football sometimes is like this."
"The news will come as a boost to Ruben Amorim, who made his feelings clear that he wants Fernandes to stay and expressed his belief that he would.
"I think he's seeing us taking some actions to change things and that's all he asks. I think he wants to stay," Amorim said.
He is saying no to a lot of things, but that shows he wants to win. He's really young, he's really good, he needs to be in the best league in the world."
Fernandes scored 19 goals and registered 19 assists last season for a woeful United side. Since joining from Sporting Lisbon for £47million in 2020, he has scored 98 goals and notched 86 assists in 290 games.
