Brentford have reportedly been left ‘irritated’ by the public nature of Manchester United’s pursuit of Bryan Mbeumo. Earlier this week, it was widely reported that the winger had snubbed interest from a host of Premier League outfits, including Newcastle and Arsenal, in favour of joining the Red Devils.
However, the Telegraph report that the Bees are yet to receive any sort of approach from the Red Devils, and they have not even quoted an asking price for the winger – though it is said to be in the region of £60million.
Claims that Mbeumo has decided to join United have left Brentford feeling ‘irritated’ by how the saga looks set to play out in the public eye, and they may not demand a higher fee for the 25-year-old as a result.
