Leicester City’s Caleb Okoli has been linked to a host of Italian sides in the past few months.
Even in the January transfer window, there was talk of a potential exit and his agent confirmed negotiations had been held about a transfer. Attempts are now ongoing to help Okoli seal a move away from Leicester City in the summer.
LaLazioSiamoNoi have reported that the Italian, who is represented by CAA Base, is an option for Lazio and they have been presented the opportunity to sign him.
Okoli’s entourage has offered him to the Roman club, with the player said to be very interested in a return to Serie A, where he’s done well in the past with Atalanta and Frosinone.
The report explains Bologna and AC Milan have previously explored the possibility of signing the centre-back and Parma tried to land him in January.
Things can get easier in the summer as Leicester City’s asking price has reduced. They signed the defender for a fee of around €14m last summer and now it’s believed he could be available for around €8m to €9m.
As things stand, attempts are ongoing to help the player secure a move back to Italy.
