The wheels of change are turning at Manchester United this summer and the effect of the same will be felt throughout the club, not just the playing squad.
Ruben Amorim has already sent a warning that there will be a lot of changes at Old Trafford after a season that will go down in history books for all the wrong reasons.
At the same time, he has promised that the “Good days are coming”, quite a claim to make after a disastrous season.
The latest axing at Man Utd shows he’s not messing about. Amorim is taking control, and the last remnant of Erik ten Hag’s era is out.

Andreas Georgson exit completes Erik ten Hag clearout
It feels like a lifetime ago now but last summer was a time of extreme optimism at Manchester United.
Erik ten Hag, fresh after winning the FA Cup in remarkable circumstances, had convinced Ineos to let him stay at the club.
There was a refreshing of the coaching staff, with club favourite Ruud van Nistelrooy arriving alongside a bona fide head coach in Rene Hake.
Andreas Georgson was on set-piece duty and he came with good credentials too, the club finally addressing its long-running weakness.
More United News
Less than 12 months out from the optimism, Georgson’s Man Utd departure removes the last remnant of Ten Hag’s coaching staff from Carrington.
Darren Fletcher remains but he’s a part of the fabric of the club more than a Ten Hag man but every appointment to the coaching team by the Dutchman has gone through the exit door.
It shows Ruben Amorim is taking control.
A complete Ruben Amorim show at Man Utd
Ineos have completely hitched their wagon to Amorim which was clear from day one, when he brought multiple staff members to the club with him.
Georgson’s presence was always an uneasy one, especially with Carlos Fernandes, Amorim’s assistant taking over set-piece duties.
It was widely expected that he would follow the likes of Hake and Van Nistelrooy out of the club but Amorim clearly didn’t want to change everything as soon as he came in.
Georgson and Fletcher stayed, but the axing that was predicted for a long time has now arrived, making it a complete Ruben Amorim show at Man Utd.
This club will now live or die with the Man Utd manager and the pressure next season will be intense.
He’s effectively been given the keys to the palace. Now the upkeep responsibility is his.
