On Monday, A Bola reported Aston Villa are dithering overing paying €30m for Sporting’s Geny Catamo. He has a €60m release clause and the Portuguese champions aren’t willing to lower the price further after already reducing it by half.

His former club, Amora, holds 75% of his rights and O Jogo state Sporting can obtain it by paying €5m. Taking this into account, the Lions are unlikely to sell him for a fee less than €30m.
