Yes, Toronto should be happy for Pascal Siakam and OG Anunoby. They were Raptors until they weren’t, and they are both, to different degrees, in better places right now.
But there is a relitigation of their Toronto departures right now, and it’s a little over the top. Siakam was named the Eastern Conference final MVP for the Indiana Pacers after they beat the New York Knicks in Game 6, in which Anunoby was good, too. The Raptors, of course, traded Siakam to Indiana and Anunoby to New York. So many are reflecting on what was left behind.
