Brighton have offered just under €10m for player – Final decision amidst rising competition

Over the past few weeks, Brighton have been linked with a move for Hellas Verona centre-back Diego Coppola.

Other English clubs have also been credited with interest in the Italian, but it seems as if the Seagulls are going forward with their move for the centre-back after watching him for a while.

L’Arena report Brighton have now offered a little less than €10m for Coppola and are awaiting a response from Verona.

Similar information is relayed by LaLazioSiamoNoi, who claim the 21-year-old is attracting a lot of clubs. Aston Villa and Brentford are interested and the player has also been put forward to Lazio by his entourage.

Brighton may face competition from Juventus, who are long-term admirers of the talent, and manager Igor Tudor is a big fan of his profile.

Everything points towards Verona waiting for more offers to come their way before making a decision, so that they earn as much as they can from a sale.
