Wrexham have had a truly almighty rise since being bought out by Hollywood in 2021 when Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds took over the North Welsh club for £2 million.
Playing in the National League at the time, Wrexham have now had back-to-back-to-back promotions, set to play in the Championship next season.
As such, The Dragons are looking to recruit further talent to get them ready for their hardest campaign yet, stepping up to the second tier of English football.
Already Wrexham have been linked with the likes of Jonny Evans and Jamie Vardy, with neither looking to materialise as Vardy wants to remain in the Premier League and Evans is hanging up his boots.
However, The Wrexham Insider has reported that the Welsh club are now looking to another Manchester United player set to leave this summer.

Wrexham look to sign Christian Eriksen
The report discusses the Fearless In Devotion podcast, which revealed that the club are looking to Eriksen who is set to leave Old Trafford at the end of his contract this summer.
Speaking on the podcast, the host Tim Edwards commented: “Apparently, yeah, apparently, Parky is interested in signing Christian Eriksen.”
He continued: “Now again, sort of the pre-fit for what we have is of a certain age of a certain experience. And he is of a certain age, and he comes with bags of experience.
“So, we’re in a weird position where it’s almost impossible to chuck any of these ideas out and dismiss them as complete lunacy because it’s Wrexham, isn’t it? Anything is possible. I don’t see it because I think there’s only so many players you can afford where the wages are going to be obscene.”
Should Eriksen join on a free transfer this would be a massive shock signing, with the midfielder still getting regular call ups to the Denmark national squad and still providing goal contributions in the Premier League.
