Everton striker Domnic Calvert-Lewin’s deal is set to run out at the end of June, making him a free agent.
The Toffees forward’s future has been uncertain for a number of months now and Calvert-Lewin was even linked with a move to Newcastle.
Armando Broja has returned to Chelsea, leaving David Moyes short on options in attack.

Calvert-Lewin future in major doubt
According to The Athletic (3 June), the future of the England international is in “major doubt”.
In 26 appearances this past season, the 28-year-old managed to find the back of the net on just three occasions.

Calvert-Lewin has even dealt with injury issues at Everton in recent months, limiting his appearances for the club.
Moyes admitted that he would make the decision on whether or not the striker is to stay put on Merseyside beyond the summer.

His contract expiring adds urgency to the decision, as retaining an injury-prone player on high wages risks squad stagnation.
