Jordan Pickford could be deployed as secret agent as Everton star spotted with £47m target -…

The summer transfer window is well underway and Everton are already making moves.

David Moyes has made four positions a priority, with a right-back, right-winger, central midfielder and striker being targeted.

Everton have recently added Aleksandar Mitrovic to their shortlist and Callum Wilson is also thought to be an option for the number nine spot.

Rangers’ Mohamed Diomande is on Moyes’ radar, too, following a productive breakout season with the Scottish giants.

Diomande registered 15 goal involvements from midfield and the Gers are desperate to retain his signature.

A fresh development has just emerged regarding another Everton target as he’s been spotted with Jordan Pickford.

Jordan Pickford spotted at the F1 with Everton target John Stones

Everton are exploring a move to sign Manchester City defender John Stones.

We understand Stones is open to returning to Merseyside this summer, however, Pep Guardiola is still undecided on his future.

Now, Pickford has just been spotted with Stones at the Spanish Grand Prix, which took place on Sunday afternoon.

The pair are known to have a close relationship, having played together for several years with England, so perhaps the Everton goalkeeper can put in a good word and convince him to make the switch.

Pickford gave a glowing report of Stones in an interview back in March, so he’s already given his green light to any forthcoming deal.

Everton are aware of Stones’ injury history

Stones was plagued by a niggling hamstring injury last season and missed the final three months because of it.

The 31-year-old has endured his injury struggles, and we are told the Toffees are aware of that but still wish to proceed with a deal.

If they can manage Stones’ minutes, there is a belief that he remains one of the best centre-backs in the Premier League.

Aside from the City star, Everton are also looking at Burnley’s Maxime Esteve, who Moyes scouted last term.
