Jadon Sancho will return to Manchester United after Chelsea made their final decision on his future.
Manchester United fans thought they had finally seen the last of Jadon Sancho when a season-long loan deal was agreed last summer.
There was a £25m obligatory buy clause for Sancho included in the deal, but it was later revealed that Chelsea could pay a £5m penalty fee to return Sancho to Old Trafford this summer.
After a season of Sancho underwhelming for Chelsea, the Blues have decided to pay the fee in order to back out of the permanent deal.
As reported by David Ornstein, Sancho will leave Chelsea on June 30th when his loan deal ends.

Why Jadon Sancho to Chelsea collapsed
Just hours after Sancho starred in the Europa Conference League final, Chelsea began contract talks with the 25-year-old winger.
However, United in Focus has been informed by transfer expert Graeme Bailey that the reason the deal fell apart is because Sancho was not willing to take a hit to his salary.

Sancho is currently earning £325,000 per week and Chelsea wanted him to take a near 50 percent cut to his wages in order to sign a deal at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea saw the £25 million buy clause as good value, but were not willing to offer Sancho a big-money contract. United decided against putting any money into the deal given they have already suffered a huge hit on the £73 million deal for Sancho.
As a result, Sancho will now return to Manchester and look for a new club this summer.
What next for Jadon Sancho and Man United?
Following Sancho’s public fallout with Erik ten Hag, there is simply no way back for him at Old Trafford.
Sancho’s petty ‘freedom’ dig irritated fans, and it is impossible to see how he could ever put on a United shirt again.
Therefore, full focus will now be on finding a new club to take Sancho off United’s hands this summer.

Bayer Leverkusen were linked with Sancho, but with Ten Hag now taking charge of the German outfit that seems… unlikely.
Alternatively, Borussia Dortmund could re-sign Sancho after showing an interest earlier this year. Sancho arrived at United from Dortmund and returned on a loan deal in 2024.
