Chelsea are headed for a busy summer transfer window. They are back in UCL and some new stars are expected to join. But, the Blues will also need to focus on selling. In addition, they will only sign players who fit in their wage structure due to which one player has already left.
Chelsea fail to agree deal with Man United star
The star in question here is Jadon Sancho. The 25 year old joined the Blues on loan from Man United last summer. The Red Devils wanted to sell Sancho permanently. But, they were unable to find a permanent solution due to which they agreed on loan deal.
Sancho joined the Blues for a year long loan with an obligation to buy. The West London club were obligated to pay £25 million to make Sancho their permanent player this summer. But, they also had an option to cancel the deal.
Sancho had a good start to his career at Chelsea. But, he failed to stay consistent. As a result, rumours started to raise about him leaving the Blues. The West London club had an option to pay £5 million as penalty fee and send Sancho back to Man United.
Later, it was revealed that Chelsea are ready to make Sancho their permanent player. But, they wanted the 25 year old to reduce his wages. The player has opted against it and The Athletic have reported that the deal is off. The player will move back to Old Trafford.

United have no intention to keep Sancho and hence will make him available in the summer market straight away. It will be interesting to see how much they demand for the 25 year old. The player has interest from Italy and Germany.
