Gary Neville has now tipped two first-team Manchester United players under Ruben Amorim to make their respective exits from Old Trafford in the summer window.
Manchester United are expected to have a busy transfer window after a disastrous 2024-25 Premier League season for Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils finished in 15th place in the Premier League table and United fell short of the Europa League trophy after a 1-0 defeat to Tottenham in May.
Amorim’s men will be without European football for the 2025-26 season after their poor Premier League finish and United’s loss to Tottenham in the final in Spain.
The 40-year-old United manager is preparing to overhaul the Red Devils first-team squad that he inherited from former Ajax boss Erik ten Hag last November.
Amorim will see both new arrivals and departures from Old Trafford in the summer transfer window ahead of the start of the 2025-26 Premier League season.

Gary Neville’s telling verdict on Marcus Rashford’s Man Utd future at Old Trafford after the player’s Aston Villa loan spell
Marcus Rashford spent the second half of the 2024-25 campaign out on loan at Aston Villa after he lost his place in the Manchester United XI under Ruben Amorim.
The 27-year-old United player was able to secure regular first-team football at Villa Park and Marcus Rashford secured his place in the England national team again.
Villa did not pay United a loan fee for Rashford after signing him back in February and the Premier League club covered the majority of his wages during his spell.
United also included an option for Villa to make the England star’s move permanent for a £40m transfer fee, which has not been triggered at the time of writing.
Speaking on the ‘It’s Called Soccer!’ show, Gary Neville insisted that the “ship has sailed” for Rashford to reintegrate himself into the United squad under Amorim.
“On these five [Marcus Rashford, Antony, Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo], I’m pretty certain. Marcus Rashford has to leave for him and the club,” he said on The Overlap US.
“I think that ship has sailed and he needs to find himself another club.
“I would worry that Aston Villa haven’t announced that they’re keeping him already because I think that could have been an easy deal to do with United if they were going to keep him, so it sounds to me like Villa aren’t going to keep him.
“I would say for Marcus’ sake and for United’s sake that it feels like that path has come to an end.”

Man Utd legend Gary Neville makes his position clear on Jadon Sancho after player’s season-long loan at Chelsea
Jadon Sancho was away from United in the 2024-25 season after Chelsea agreed to take the ex-Borussia Dortmund ace out on a season-long loan last summer.
Chelsea agreed to pay United a fee between £20m and £25m this summer to make Jadon Sancho’s move permanent, but the Blues could still scupper the deal.
However, it emerged that the Premier League club could pay a £5m clause if they choose not to sign the 25-year-old former England international from United.
Neville has admitted that he has been a “bit concerned” that the Blues have not “made the noises” that they will commit to signing Sancho this summer.
Speaking on Sancho, the United legend said: “I feel a little bit similarly with him as I do with Marcus.
“I’d be a bit concerned that Chelsea haven’t made the noises that they’re going to keep him.
“Again, Manchester United have to make sure they part ways with him and, from Jadon’s point of view, he has to make sure that he parts ways with Manchester United.”
The Red Devils have already made their first major signing of the summer window after United agreed to sign Matheus Cunha from Wolves for a £62.5m transfer fee.
