Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal appear to have already moved on from Bruno Fernandes with the team already working on alternative transfer targets.
Al-Hilal had been showing an interest in the Manchester United captain this summer, after Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah committed his future to the Anfield side. Reports in Saudi claimed that the club had offered a huge financial package to Fernandes to try and convince him to make the move.
However, as reported by the Manchester Evening News, the United star is thought to have rejected the proposal and will stay at Old Trafford. It is understood that there was no contact between the two clubs over a potential move.
The decision will come as a big boost to United, with Fernandes a key player.
Despite a disappointing season, the midfielder still impressed with performances, sometimes single-handedly dragging the team through games.
It seems that Al-Hilal have now quickly moved on to alternative targets. According to Fabrizio Romano, the club have made contact with the representatives of Atalanta midfielder Ederson over a potential move.

Although the club are yet to send an official proposal for the player, it is reported that one could follow soon.
The move will become more likely if Al-Hilal confirm the appointment of Simone Inzaghi as manager, as expected.
The Italian is currently in charge at Inter Milan. But there has been a lot of speculation over his future following the Champions League final loss against Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday evening.
Having worked in Serie A for his entire career Inzaghi would have got a close look at Ederson and the qualities that he brings to the team.
