Arsenal are keen to secure the services of a Blackburn Rovers player and are willing to pay seven figures for him.
Blackburn Rovers missed out on the Championship play-offs in 2024/25 despite a late resurgence and are set for another season in the second tier.
Rovers may be facing another campaign in England’s second division without a couple of promising players, however.
It was confirmed last month that Blackburn had offered Tyrhys Dolan a new contract amid his deal expiring on June 30.
However, Dolan is expected to leave and has interest from fellow Championship side Middlesbrough.
Now, reports of Arsenal targeting another top prospect have emerged this week.

Arsenal eye move for Blackburn Rovers player
The Premier League outfit missed out on the league title and any form of silverware in 2024/25.
But they are seemingly planning for the future with a move for Igor Tyjon now on the cards, according to the Sun.
Manchester United are said to have previously had an interest in the 17-year-old, with the Gunners now leading the race.
The report claims that Arsenal are willing to pay over £1m for the teenager, with Blackburn going to demand a high fee for Tyjon.

How Igor Tyjon has fared at Blackburn Rovers
Tyjon joined Rovers in the summer of 2023, signing from Rochdale for an undisclosed transfer fee.
Despite only turning 17 in March, he’s been a regular feature at U21 level for his current club, scoring six goals.
A natural centre-forward, Tyjon has shown his versatility by operating as a number 10 and on the left wing at times.
He has made two senior appearances for Blackburn, the first of which came on September 14, 2024, versus Bristol City.
The second was a five-minute cameo against Sunderland at the back end of the most recent campaign.
