Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen wants to "get away" from the Premier League.
Eriksen said goodbye to Old Trafford on the final day of the season, and he recently wrote a farewell post on social media to thank United fans for their support.
The creative midfielder's contract with United officially expires at the end of the month.
Eriksen spent three seasons in Manchester, and he admitted he wants his next move to be outside of the Premier League, where he has spent the majority of his career representing United, Brentford and Tottenham.
In an interview with Danish broadcaster TV 2 Sport, Eriksen discussed his plans for this summer and said: "Right now, there is nothing. There is interest all around, but there is nothing that I am close to signing. My focus will be to play international matches and then have a good summer holiday.
"Then we will see how long the holiday will be. I would rather get away from the Premier League. I feel I have had my turn in the Premier League, so I am looking outside the English borders
"It's been a great place for me and my family, and we've been there for many years. When I moved from Tottenham to Inter, it wasn't the plan for me to go back to England. I've been there for three and a half years again since then, so you can never say never, but the priority is for me to leave."
Eriksen has been linked with a move to his former club OB, but he poured cold water over those reports.
"It [links to OB] got sent to me from someone who asked if I should return to OB," he explained.
"My agent has also been out and about, saying that I shouldn't. It's the football rumour mill. I hope no one has put money on it happening now, because then they'll lose."
Ajax, Anderlecht and Brentford have also been linked with a move for Eriksen, who scored eight goals during his 107 appearances for United across all competitions.
Eriksen spoke to journalists after the final day of the campaign and claimed United were fortunate not to be relegated. “I think, unfortunately, there’s been a lot of lows this season with the games, and obviously the final was the missing piece. It’s football," said Eriksen.
“For me now, I think people are lucky that we are where we are, not relegated with the team with the season we’ve had, so it is also a bit of luck you have to acknowledge. Next season it has to be better, and I’m sure it will be. I’m looking forward to watching it from the sides.”
