Inter Milan are the latest club to be linked with Marcus Rashford after his Aston Villa loan from Manchester United ended.

The Italian club are exploring the possibility of agreeing a long-term loan deal with the Red Devils for Rashford, reports The Sun.

Inter are reeling from a 5-0 Champions League final demolition at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain, with the San Siro club’s chiefs said to see Rashford as a key player in a rebuild this summer.

Rashford has also been linked with a transfer to Barcelona this summer, with Villa looking set to miss out despite a £40m option to sign him permanently from United.

Barcelona sporting director Deco is believed to have met Rashford’s agent last week, having previously commented on the links to Rashford and also Liverpool’s Luis Diaz.

"We have been focusing on renewing contracts, after that, we'll discuss players to come," Deco told BBC Sport.

"Of course, these two players, like you mentioned (Rashford and Diaz), they are good but have contracts in their clubs, so we won't speak because it's not fair. But when you decide to go to the market, for sure, we find some names. In my opinion, we don't need to bring many players.

"When I speak with the agents of the players, everyone wants to come or stay. So this is important. The image of the club is still good. We are proud because Barcelona is still such a big club, and the way we are playing football makes players want to come."

Barcelona boss Hansi Flick also described both Rashford and Diaz as 'fantastic players' when asked about the attacking duo last month. "I don't want to talk about players who aren't part of my team, but they're both fantastic players and I like them," the German said. "We'll see what happens."
