Juventus defender Tiago Djaló is being watched by Crystal Palace as he prepares to leave end a loan spell at Porto this summer.
That’s [according to Mais Futebol](https://maisfutebol.iol.pt/transferencias/inglaterra/de-saida-do-fc-porto-tiago-djalo-e-seguido-pelo-crystal-palace), who confirm reports elsewhere that Crystal Palace are following the 25-year-old centre-back.
Djaló has spent this season on loan at Porto from the Italian giants but has only managed 17 appearances across all competitions, totalling 1303 minutes.
The Portuguese side do not intend to make his transfer permanent and he’ll be returning to Juventus, where he is, presumably also not a part of their plans. His current contract with the Serie A side runs out next summer, though, meaning they need to find a buyer this summer or risk losing him on a free.
That could give Crystal Palace the chance to get their man and the defender ‘is being followed’ by Oliver Glasner’s side. They are interested in him, and he could go to London according to Mais Futebol’s information. There are other clubs interested in the defender, though.
There’s no mention of a transfer fee, but Djaló did cost Juventus €5m to sign from Lille in 2023. He’s only played one game for them since, but they would presumably look to recoup that with a sale this summer.
