Ireland assistant manager John O’Shea is confident that the national team will reap the rewards of Caoimhín Kelleher’s move away from Liverpool once his €21m switch to Premier League rivals Brentford is completed.
Kelleher missed training with the Irish squad on Monday, as part of their preparations for Friday’s friendly at home to Senegal, as the Cork native was in London for talks with the Bees over that proposed move.
