Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes appears to be staying put, but Al-Hilal are ready to move on to a rumoured Old Trafford target.
Manchester United’s incoming business is already ramping up.
Matheus Cunha’s move to United has been agreed, with the Wolverhampton Wanderers ace set to complete his move to Old Trafford.
Bryan Mbeumo wants to join United and could arrive from Brentford if a deal can be thrashed out.
Those two moves would give United a huge attacking boost ahead of the new season, and all without losing Bruno Fernandes.

Al-Hilal move on to Manchester United target Ederson
Bruno will now stay put at Old Trafford, leaving Al-Hilal to move on to other targets ahead of the Club World Cup.
Fabrizio Romano now claims that Bruno’s snub means Al-Hilal are now looking to sign Atalanta midfielder Ederson.
More United News
Romano claims that Al-Hilal have made contact with Ederson’s representatives, and the Brazilian is high on their transfer wish list.
Ederson’s name is certainly familiar to United fans, given huge speculation surrounding a possible move to Old Trafford.
Reports suggested that United would move to sign Ederson if Ruben Amorim won the Europa League.
That didn’t happen in the end, but Romano did suggest that Ederson was viewed as United’s dream target in midfield ahead of the summer window.
United missing out on Champions League football may complicate any move, and matching an enormous offer from Al-Hilal seems unlikely this summer, meaning Ederson may slip through the net.

Lingering Bruno Fernandes concern remains
United may miss out on Ederson, but Amorim certainly needs another midfielder or two this summer.
Christian Eriksen is leaving United this summer and Amorim must find more options for his engine room.
Ederson appears more likely to head to Al-Hilal, but the lingering concern over Bruno’s future remains.
Romano suggested on X that Bruno ‘wants to play at the top level in Europe’ and has no interest in heading to Saudi Arabia.
Perhaps playing in the Premier League continues to scratch that itch for Bruno, but a lack of European football will leave some lingering concern.
Whether Europe’s elite clubs are looking at Bruno remains to be seen, but Amorim will hope to not only keep Bruno but also add another midfielder.
