Inaki Pena looks destined to leave Barcelona this summer, with the Catalans hoping to add Joan Garcia to their goalkeeping options.
The 26-year-old was also disappointed to lose his place last season to Wojciech Szczęsny, meaning that a parting of ways looks the best option for both parties.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Celta and Galatasaray are both “closely monitoring” Pena and could try to make a move this summer.
The goalkeeper is also thought to have attracted interest from Sevilla and Valencia but both may struggle to make a transfer work financially.
Pena did spent time on loan at Galatasaray previously and may well be tempted to return to the Turkish Super Lig side.
Okan Buruk’s side won the title last season and can offer Pena the chance of Champions League football for 2025-26.
Yet it remains to be seen if Pena wants to head abroad again, particularly as he recently became a father. If he does opt to stay in La Liga, then it seems Celta may be a possibility.
