As it stands, it doesn’t look like Bruno Fernandes is leaving Manchester United.
Earlier today, [we covered a report](https://sportwitness.co.uk/manchester-united-claims-dismissed-in-saudi-arabia-havent-even-got-a-manager/) from Saudi Arabia which explained claims Aleksandar Mitrović has been offered to Manchester United and others are simply untrue. That’s because Al-Hilal haven’t even got a manager at the moment and won’t make decisions on incomings and outgoings until then.
Club legend Mohammad Al-Shalhoub is currently caretaker manager and once the permanent man is in place they can finalise their transfer plans. Such a report threw huge doubt on the idea of the Bruno Fernandes deal, and was soon accompanied by reports saying the Manchester United player had decided against the transfer.
The Manchester United captain and his stance over a move have been a topic of discussion on Portuguese TV this afternoon, with Bruno Andrade saying Fernandes remaining where he is always looked the likeliest outcome.

Bruno Fernandes was already much loved at Manchester United and that status will be further underlined after giving up the riches on offer. Whatever happened during the process, and the Saudi media suggest Al-Hilal weren’t charging ahead with an offer, in Portugal they’re not surprised the midfielder couldn’t walk away from Old Trafford.
