Premier League outfit Wolves are monitoring the situation of Millwall striker Mihailo Ivanovic after his impressive 24/25 Championship campaign.
Millwall are preparing for another season in the Championship after Alex Neil’s side failed to finish in the play-off places last term.
Billionaire investor Turki Alalshikh has been linked to Millwall, with a Lions takeover mooted, alongside his interest in Sheffield Wednesday.
Millwall’s recruitment team have been taking steps to unearth the next Ademola Lookman within the summer transfer window, but their most testing task of all could be to retain some of their top talents ahead of next season.
One of those has been the subject of transfer interest from Premier League outfit Wolves, and EFL Analysis can exclusively reveal that they are intent on rebuffing their advances.

Wolves told to ‘double the money’ to sign Mihailo Ivanovic from Millwall
As also stated by journalist Richard Crawley on X, Wolves have been monitoring Millwall striker Mihailo Ivanovic this season, after his 12-goal debut Championship campaign for the Lions.
The 20-year-old forward arrived from Vojvodina last summer and has cemented himself as one of the second tier’s brightest young attacking talents with his form in front of goal for Millwall.
EFL Analysis understands, via information from Chief Football correspondent Graeme Bailey, that Wolves will have to shell out a more significant fee for Ivanovic’s services.
Bailey said: “Millwall will likely keep him. They spent a lot of money on him, and Millwall aren’t desperate.
“They signed him as a project and he’s done really well, but they’ll keep him.”

Games played – 37
Goals – 12
Assists – 0
Bailey added: “He’s gone there and done what they wanted. They won’t be flipping him.
“Obviously with the Championship, though, if someone offers double the money, who knows?”
Given Ivanovic’s stunning first season in English Football, the Lions will be desperate to keep him, especially with their lack of firepower aside from the Serbian this season.

Why Alex Neil will be desperate to keep Mihailo Ivanovic at Millwall
Ivanovic was integral in Millwall’s play-off push this season, and without the Serbian, their lack of goalscoring firepower is evident.
In the Championship, Ivanovic was the only Millwall player to register double figures for combined goals and assists, after his 12-goal campaign.
Former Sunderland midfielder George Honeyman was the second-highest on Millwall’s goal contributions list, after scoring twice and assisting on five occasions.
Femi Azeez and Casper de Norre both also registered seven goal contributions each as Millwall finished eighth in the Championship table.
Ivanovic certainly has the credentials and potential to become a Premier League player in the near future, but if Millwall are to go one better than this season and get into the play-offs next term, then Wolves’ interest in the Serbian starlet must continue to be rebutted.
