Although a goalkeeping coach has yet to be identified, following Caoimhin Kelleher’s move to Brentford, West Ham are reportedly stepping up our [transfer](https://www.claretandhugh.info/west-ham-transfer-news/) search for a new keeper.
One player highly recommended to Graham Potter and his coaching team is Djorde Petrovic, a Serbian international who was on loan at BlueCo-owned French Ligue 1 club Strasbourg from Chelsea last season. Reports suggest he has now been placed on the transfer list.
The Guardian has claimed that Chelsea are willing to listen to offers for Petrovic and have placed a €25m valuation on his head.
The 6ft 4” shot-stopper was voted Strasbourg’s Player of the Season. The 25-year-old is two years into a seven-year contract and played 31 times for the Ligue 1 club last season.
Nicknamed “Petre Boomin,” the Serbian is known for his quick reflexes and penalty saves and would be a shrewd signing by West Ham. There are other clubs interested, so Hammers fans will be hoping the club move forward quickly.
