The Orlando Magic are leaning on their history with the latest set of announcements the franchise made on Tuesday. Magic fans have been pushing the team to bring back the franchise's iconic throwback jerseys from the days of Shaquille O'Neal and Penny Hardaway.
Fans are not entirely getting their wish, but it is close as the Magic revealed several major changes. The Magic introduced three new uniform combos. Part of these new uniforms include a brand new alternate combo that is a nod to the team's 1990s warm-up jackets.
The Magic are leaning on their old text as well by bringing back the star into both "Orlando" and "Magic" on the jerseys while getting closer to the team's historic pinstripe uniforms.

Here is a look at the new Magic jerseys, shorts and uniform combinations unveiled by Paolo Banchero, Franz Wagner and Jalen Suggs.
Orlando will be wearing white and blue pinstripe uniforms with a revamped wordmark featuring the star at the center of all three jerseys. Additionally, the star is featured on the pinstriped shorts.
The Magic also introduced a new logo which is a revised version of the blue ball and stars made popular during the Shaq and Penny era of the 1990s.
Orlando's new logo features "Orlando Magic" written around the new ball and stars inside a black circle. It is a similar look to the alternate logo of the 1990s that simply featured the ball and stars without any text.
"We heard you, Magic fans!" the Magic announced in a statement on Tuesday. "The love for the original Magic logo is strong! So, we're bringing back your favorite pieces of the original look, updated to celebrate the new era of Magic basketball.
"The ball and stars are now the central focal point of the logo, surrounded by the team name. Let the star shine bright!"
