Everton have identified a number of strikers this summer.
First, David Moyes held talks with Liam Delap, but it became apparent that he preferred a move to the capital with Chelsea.
Then, it seemed as though Everton had turned their attention to Nick Woltemade, who Stuttgart value at around £34m.
Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison continues to be mooted with a return to Merseyside, too, but that seems off the table as it stands.
Now, Everton have added a new striker to their shortlist and it’s clear what kind of profile David Moyes is after.

Everton identify Villarreal striker Thierno Barry
Moyes is desperate to overhaul his attacking ranks, with Armando Broja gone and Dominic Calvert-Lewin likely to leave Everton.
It’s become pretty evident the Scotsman wants a physically imposing centre-forward, having already been linked to Delap and Woltemade, who are 6ft 4 and 6ft 6 respectively.
Now, according to The Athletic, the Toffees are looking into a deal to sign Villarreal’s towering frontman Thierno Barry, who stands at 6ft 5.

Barry has enjoyed a prolific season in La Liga following an £11m move from Basel last summer. The 22-year-old scored 19 goals across both clubs.
41 appearances
19 goals
4 assists
The 22-year-old is under contract for another four years, so it’d likely take a substantial bid to get him out of the Spanish club.
Barry plays just like Jean-Philippe Mateta
According to FBref data, Barry’s style of play is very similar to Crystal Palace’s Jean-Philippe Mateta’s, which suggests he’d suit the Premier League.
The 2002-born has impressive underlying data, ranking in the top 14 per cent for aerial duels won compared to his positional peers across Europe.
The statistics also evince that he enjoys taking defenders on and using his pace, so he’s very mobile for such a tall forward.
Barry still has plenty of time to improve and develop, which would make it a really exciting signing considering he’s already finding the net in one of Europe’s top five leagues.
