Everton are keen on strengthening their attacking options this summer, and have their sights set on a very exciting target.
David Moyes has improved Everton with limited incomings since returning as manager in January, and will now hope to bolster his squad.
Beto has impressed at times as a centre-forward, but Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s future is up in the air as his contract nears its expiry date.
With a striker on the agenda this summer, Villarreal star Thierno Barry is now the subject of interest, but Everton may struggle to sign him.

Villarreal in strong position as Everton eye Barry
Everton are reportedly interested in a move for Barry as a Calvert-Lewin replacement. The striker only joined Villarreal from FC Basel a year ago, but has since grown in stature.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
The Athletic (3 June) have reported that Barry is one of the names being considered for a move as a potential replacement for Calvert-Lewin, and the 22-year-old would be an upgrade in the short and long term.
However, even if Everton are interested in Barry, it could be very difficult to land him this summer.

Barry for Villarreal in all competitions
Barry is under contract until 2029 and joined Villarreal for £12.7m last year. He has since had a strong debut campaign, scoring 19 goals as he helped the Yellow Submarine qualify for the Champions League.
A figure significantly higher will be necessary for Everton to land the centre-forward, given Villarreal’s strong negotiating position, and this could make any potential deal very difficult.

Barry would be a superb signing for Everton
Barry is still fairly raw, having played in La Liga for just one season, but he has shown glimpses of having a huge potential.
The striker adds a big physical presence as he stands at 1.95 metres tall, while also providing a lot of speed, and causes a lot of trouble in 1v1 situations.
The Frenchman scored 11 goals in 37 games in his first season in Spain, and was in and out of the starting XI as he adjusted to La Liga.
Villarreal view him as a player with a lot of potential, and may believe that he commands a higher fee than Nicolas Jackson, who joined Chelsea for just over £30 million two years ago.
If Everton do land him, he could be moulded into a first-choice striker for the long-term, who can both lead the line off the ball while also providing threat in front of goal.
