Kevin De Bruyne looks set to continue his footballing journey at Napoli after his Manchester City career came to an end recently.
Napoli are set to announce De Bruyne’s arrival this week as a move looks on the verge of completion.
The Belgian international will be hoping to further cement his legacy as one of the greatest midfielders of all time in Italy but most importantly, enjoy his football.
De Bruyne’s wife fancies a move to Napoli and the 33-year-old will be satisfied about his loved ones being on board with his imminent move to Italy.
Napoli are eyeing move for Manchester City star Jack Grealish
Jack Grealish is another player who could depart City and follow in the six-time Premier League winner’s steps. Pep Guardiola suggested Grealish may leave while claiming that a player of his quality deserves to play regular football and very well could elsewhere.
Serie A could be the Englishman’s next destination alongside De Bruyne, with AC Milan eyeing Grealish this summer.

Journalist Dean Jones told The Transfer From Paradise podcast on Patreon that Napoli are keeping a close eye on the England international as well: “It looks like Grealish is on his way out of Man City. He’s been struggling for minutes, and with new attacking signings lined up, it feels like his time is up. He could be part of a full-blown English exodus from the Etihad, with Kyle Walker, John Stones, and Kalvin Phillips all progressing moves elsewhere.”
Grealish is open to joining Tottenham, but it seems like there is mystery around whether Spurs, Napoli, AC Milan and Newcastle United hope to sign him permanently or on loan.
“The question is whether Grealish leaves on loan or permanently. Newcastle, Spurs, AC Milan, and Napoli are all watching this closely.”
Jack Grealish and Kevin De Bruyne’s record together at Man City
Grealish could potentially fancy a move to Napoli simply because he would have the chance to play alongside De Bruyne, who he recently named as the best player he has ever played with.
The former Aston Villa winger said: “Kev! Thank you for everything. You were a big reason why I wanted to join this club in the first place to play with you.”
“So, yeah, it’s been a pleasure. The best player I’ve ever played with, for sure. I’m going to miss you around the place.”
Grealish and De Bruyne’s record as a duo at Manchester City is impressive to say the least as well.
