The Dallas Cowboys made a huge splash this offseason by acquiring wide receiver George Pickens and a 2027 sixth-round pick from the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for a 2026 third-round pick and a 2027 fifth-round pick.
Through his first three seasons in the NFL, he's been solid, accumulating 174 receptions, 2,841 yards and 12 touchdowns in 48 games with 40 starts, so there's hope he can come in and make an immediate impact.
So far, he's been a regular contributor at the Cowboys' offseason workouts and practices and has been wearing No. 13, which is a minor switch from having No. 14 with the Steelers.
However, on Tuesday, the team's official X account posted a photo of the wide receiver at practice and it showcases him now donning No. 3, with the caption "PICK3NS."
The change has caught the attention of Cowboys fans, with many claiming that Pickens' new number suits him much better and that he ultimately made the right decision.
"ohhhh yeah ima need that jersey," said one comment.
"I like Pickens in 3. Fresh start vibes," said another.
"3 looks tuff on him," a third added.
A fourth stated, "Massive upgrade."
"Loving Pickens in the 3," a fifth continued.
"1,000 yards and 10 TD season incoming. That number just looks too clean," said another.

Of course, all of this number switching may not even matter in a year from now, as Pickens is entering the final year of his rookie contract, and it will remain to be seen if Dallas is able to bring him back.
In order to do so, the Cowboys would need to pay a hefty price tag, as Spotrac predicts that Pickens' market value will eventually land him a four-year, $101 million contract.
