Leeds United and Chelsea have been linked with a move for Santos goalkeeper Gabriel Brazao.
After Illan Meslier’s disappointing campaign between the sticks, Daniel Farke wants a new number one for the Premier League season.
Karl Darlow replaced Meslier towards the back-end of the campaign, but the Whites are looking for an upgrade on him as well.

Leeds United must bring in Brazao this summer
Brazao represents an exciting signing for Leeds as they seek a reliable goalkeeper to replace Meslier.
The 24-year-old Brazilian has revitalised his career at Santos since February 2024, showcasing his shot-stopping prowess and consistency.
His experience, despite a turbulent European stint with clubs like Inter Milan and Parma, highlights his resilience and adaptability, qualities vital for the Premier League’s intensity.
Brazao’s ability to command his area and distribute effectively aligns with Daniel Farke’s possession-based system, making him a strong fit to anchor Leeds’ defence as they aim to solidify their top-flight status.
However, Leeds must act swiftly to secure his signature, as Chelsea have already made inquiries and are preparing a formal offer for the Santos star.
With Brazao’s contract running until 2028 and interest from Porto and Galatasaray, competition is fierce.
Leeds’ promise of regular first-team football could sway Brazao, but delays risk losing him to Chelsea’s financial muscle and prestige, necessitating urgent action to bolster their squad for the 2025/26 season.
