Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur has plenty of talented players to work with on offense, especially at certain skill positions.
But, starting tight end Tucker Kraft is everything that he could have ever wanted at the tight end position and more.
Tucker Kraft Needs the Ball
---------------------------
The former FCS champion has made quite the impression since being drafted by Green Bay in the third round two years ago.
After catching 31 passes for 355 yards and two touchdowns as a rookie in 2023, Kraft took a major step last season.
He started all 17 games, caught 50 passes on 70 targets, and recorded 707 receiving yards to go along with seven touchdowns.
Not to mention the fact that he was in charge of a couple of sneak plays as he ran the ball three times and converted three first downs.
But among tight ends last season, No. 85 ranked fourth in touchdowns and seventh in receiving yards, yet he ranked 18th in both targets and receptions.
Simply put, good things happen when he touches the ball, and the Packers likely need to get him that ball even more in 2025.

If he can sure up his game as a run-blocker, he could be mentioned in the same breath as George Kittle and Travis Kelce.
Tucker Kraft is a Key Part of an Elite Cast of Skill Players in Green Bay
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
While Kraft might be a big x-factor for LaFleur and Co. heading into the season, there are plenty of other big names to focus on.
The wide receiver room, even with Christian Watson out for a big part of the year (ACL), is incredibly deep.
Veteran Romeo Doubs, speedster Jayden Reed, first-round rookie Matthew Golden, third-round rookie Savion Williams, slot man Dontayvion Wicks, and veteran Mecole Hardman round out that group.
Fellow third-year tight end Luke Musgrave will be back healthy to play alongside Kraft.
Of course, you can’t forget about All-Pro running back Josh Jacobs and his quality backups in Emanuel Wilson and a healthy MarShawn Lloyd.
While everything might hinge on star quarterback Jordan Love, he will not have to do everything alone out there.
He has a whole cast of skill players all working in unison to create a dangerous offensive scheme that defenses should have a tough time stopping.
