Manchester United loanee Marcus Rashford has reportedly sparked the interest of one top-tier European club amid Barcelona being linked with the Aston Villa player.
Marcus Rashford is currently on loan at Aston Villa and the 27-year-old England international is set to return to Old Trafford on 30th June when his contract expires.
Villa signed Rashford on loan from Manchester United back in February and the Premier League side did not pay a loan fee for the Three Lions star’s spell.
However, the Premier League club reportedly covered the majority of Rashford’s substantial United wages during his time at Villa Park under Unai Emery.
United’s deal for Rashford to be sent out for the second half of the 2024-25 campaign included an option for Villa to make the move permanent.
Villa can keep the England forward at Villa Park for a £40m transfer fee, but it remains to be seen if the Premier League club will trigger the clause.
