Manchester United are continuing their pursuit of attacker Bryan Mbeumo as the Red Devils look to strengthen their squad for next season.
With Bruno Fernandes firmly remaining at Old Trafford and Matheus Cunha joining the ranks, already Ruben Amorim’s attack is starting to look exciting.
However, the addition of Mbeumo would certainly boost the squad further, especially after missing out on Liam Delap.
Whilst no contact has been made as of yet between the two clubs, Brentford are reportedly unhappy with how public the pursuit has been. It’s understood their unimpressed with their star reportedly keen on a move to Old Trafford.
With no release clause in his contract, The Bees have reportedly put a £60 million price tag on their attacker,
However, Brentford aren’t the only ones to cash in, with Mbeumo himself wanting a wage reflective of his move to a bigger club.
It’s been reported that Mbeumo was looking for a £200,000 per week wage, however The Times has now reported this to be even higher.

New wage demands from Bryan Mbeumo
It’s understood that Mbeumo is looking to upscale his wage from £50,000 per week to £250,000 per week, scaling his wage up by five times.
This new salary, should United agree to it, would see the Cameroon international earn around £13 million per year, a huge step up from the £2.5 million per year he’s currently on.
It’s already been revealed by CentreDevils that contact has been taking place between The Red Devils and Mbeumo’s camp, and as such we may see a move take place in the coming weeks.
Amorim has previously voiced his desire to only sign players who want to play for United for the pride of being a Red Devil, with Mbeumo seemingly fitting that box just as much as Matheus Cunha.
