Christian Eriksen will leave Manchester United this summer, but the Denmark international has yet to decide on his next club.
After spending three seasons at Manchester United, Christian Eriksen will leave Old Trafford having won the Carabao Cup and FA Cup following a free transfer in 2022.
Eriksen had his greatest influence on the team in his first season at United, starring as an experienced presence in Erik ten Hag’s midfield, but it was clear that he wouldn’t be part of Ruben Amorim’s plans for the future.
With Eriksen’s contract at United set to expire at the end of June, the 33-year-old will now compete on the international stage before making a final decision over his future.
The former Ajax, Tottenham Hotspur, Inter Milan and Brentford star is now free to talk to different clubs about a move this summer.

Christian Eriksen plans to leave the Premier League
Most of Eriksen’s career has been spent in England.
After breaking through at Ajax and emerging as a promising star for the future, Tottenham took Eriksen to the Premier League before he spent seven years at the London outfit.
The Dane would leave Tottenham to join Inter Milan, although his time in Italy was cut short despite signing a four-year deal.

Inter terminated Eriksen’s contract after he was suspended from playing in Italy because of his cardiac device implant. He had to take a break from playing football after suffering a cardiac arrest during Denmark’s opening game of the European Championship against Finland in 2020.
Eriksen would return to the Premier League when he joined Brentford in 2022.
United came knocking with interest in Eriksen when his deal at Brentford expired, although the Bees made firm attempts to keep him at the club.
With Eriksen set to leave United, he has told Danish outlet TV2 that there is interest, but nothing concrete has been decided on his future.
“Right now there is nothing,” Eriksen said. “There is interest all round, but there is nothing that I am close to signing. My focus will be to play international matches and then have a good summer holiday.
“Then we will see how long the holiday will be.”
Eriksen’s agent has ruled out a return to Denmark, but it doesn’t sound like he will be staying in the Premier League either.
“I would rather get away from the Premier League,” he continued. “I feel I have had my turn in the Premier League, so I am looking outside the English borders.
“It’s been a great place for me and my family, and we’ve been there for many years. When I moved from Tottenham to Inter, it wasn’t the plan for me to go back to England.
“I’ve been there for three and a half years again since then, so you can never say never, but the priority is for me to leave.”
Eriksen deals blow to Brentford
Brentford manager Thomas Frank opened the door for Eriksen to return last month.
Frank, who has a close relationship with Eriksen from the midfielder’s year-long spell at Brentford, believes he is one of the best Danish players in recent times.
The Brentford manager said: “Christian is a fantastic player and probably the best Danish player in recent times.
“There’s no doubt that he really wants to play more and had a really good time when he was with us. I’m open to all players, but of course, there are lots of things that need to be finalised when it comes to transfers. In any case, I would say that nothing is closed.”
