This week’s episode is a bit more news heavy, though that’s only compared to last week’s episode where Josh and I had to come up with things to talk about.
First, we spend a good chunk of time talking about Josh’s piece on Nico Harrison. There’ve been many media appearances by Dallas Mavericks officials since the Mavericks won the NBA Lottery in May. However, none of them have been by general manager Nico Harrison. Josh explains why that’s weird and what sort of signals that sends the fanbase. I then have a short (long) rant about the Dallas Mavericks agreeing to play a game against the Los Angeles Lakers in Las Vegas in the preseason. I think it’s a bad idea, in short.

Following the break, we get into the seasons of PJ Washington, Daniel Gafford, Jaden Hardy, and Kessler Edwards. All four of these guys had interesting seasons, which makes sense for Gafford and Washington, but would you have told me that Hardy and Edwards would have impact this year, I would’ve assumed you were messing with me. Washington had a good season though he played bad in the second play in game. Got to wonder if that hangs over any part of the offseason for him and Dallas.
