The Portland Trail Blazers, who hosted five likely first-round picks last week, resumed predraft workouts Tuesday with six players unlikely to be drafted in the June 25-26 NBA draft.

The two most notable players on hand Tuesday were Gonzaga forward Ben Gregg and forward Mohamed Diawara, who played last season for Cholet Basket in France.

The Blazers were the first team to host Diawara. He says he has 10 other workouts scheduled, including Chicago next.

Diawara said he felt pleased with his performance on Tuesday.

“I think I showcased a lot of my skills,” he said.

Those included his shooting, defensive abilities and versatility.

Weakness to clean up?

“I feel like I gotta be more regular on my three-point shot,” he said.

Diawara said he modeled his game after Indiana forward Pascal Siakam and Minnesota forward Jaden McDaniels.

“Those are the players I look up to the most,” he said.

The Blazers already have two players from France, Rayan Rupert and Sidy Cissoko.

Diawara said he knows both well.

“It was good to see them,” he said.
