Mjällby has never been seen as a top club in Swedish football. However, this season they have really impressed. They have a squad of players with good experience.
The Gambian Abdoulie Manneh can look back on the first third of the series with a cheerful expression. Mjällby’s success is connected to his own very strong spring. The winning goal (1–0) against Brommapojkarna at home at Strandvallen was the sixth of the season. With that, he moved up to the joint lead in the scoring league.
