Packers cornerback and All-Pro kick returner Keisean Nixon has been one of the best return men in the league since he came to Green Bay three seasons ago.
But since he is one of the best return men in the game, he believes opposing teams will try not to kick him the ball this season.
Keisean Nixon Anticipates Not Getting the Ball on Returns This Season
Nixon recently met with the media to chat about his thoughts on the upcoming season and how things are moving along for him as he enters his fourth season in Green Bay.
According to insider Matt Schneidman, the 27-year-old believes that teams will kick away from, even though the NFL’s new touchback rule allows for teams to start at the 35-yard line on touchbacks.
Nixon also mentioned how he believes that opposing teams would rather give Green Bay the ball at the 35 as opposed to the 50 with him returning kicks.

Opposing Teams Should Not Kick to Keisean Nixon and Co.
Judging by what the former Raider has done in the return game since he arrived in Green Bay, opposing teams would do well to not kick to him.
The two-time All-Pro has led the league in kick return yards twice (2022, 2023).
His kick return touchdown late in the 2022 season against the Minnesota Vikings was the first Packers kick return touchdown since Randall Cobb kicked off the season with a kick return touchdown of his own against the New Orleans Saints back in 2011.

Not only has Nixon proved to be a dynamic return man throughout his time with the Packers, but the team also signed veteran wide receiver and kick returner Mecole Hardman this offseason.
Hardman is a former Pro Bowl return man himself.
A three-time Super Bowl champion with the Kansas City Chiefs, Hardman has one career punt return touchdown and one career kick return touchdown.
With both Nixon and Hardman back there, the Packers should get good field position a lot this year, especially if teams decide to give them a chance on a return.
If not, Green Bay will get the ball at the 35.
