The Golden State Warriors were among the teams being attached to Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo although this mostly has no traction.

Should he join the Warriors? That’s a difficult topic to discuss for Dubs guard Brandin Podziemski who also happened to be a Wisconsin native.
The 2023 19th overall pick sat down with Kay Adams and discussed his time as the best player in Wisconsin during his young years and time with the Warriors who are expected to make major moves this offseason. This includes chasing superstars to pair with Stephen Curry.
Giannis name’s is attached to his team but he does not think it will happen. To him, it is uncomfortable to imagine, even comparing it to what would it feel like if his teammate and four-time champion Curry wears a different jersey.
“The same thing with any player like that, like Steph (Curry) not playing for the Warriors,” said Podziemski who was named Mr. Wisconsin Basketball in 2021 as member of the Muskego High School basketball team.

“All guys who cemented their legacy with one team … you never expect it to change.”
He also referenced how shock the NBA world was when the Dallas Mavericks decided to let Luka Doncic go.
He capped off his answer by saying that “Anywhere else just doesn’t seem right at all.”
Giannis Antetokounmpo to Warriors rumor
How possible is the Warriors-Antetokounmpo partnership? There’s nothing to it.
There’s one reporter who floated the idea of Warriors offering something to the Bucks for their superstar. This was then followed by a Giannis presence in San Francisco, which turned out to be for a brand endorsement.
It should be noted, too, that Giannis and Curry are fond of each other.

Now, these reporters do not think it can happen as the Dub Nation will have to pay a heavy price – Draymond Green and Jimmy Butler.
“How it would happen is you’re likely trading Jimmy Butler or Draymond Green in a trade,” NBA reporter Bobby Marks said.
“That’s how it happens. There’s not a scenario where you can fit Giannis and also keep the other three players there.”
