Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Best Suitor Reportedly Feeling Uncertain Now With Chase of #34; Here’s…

Teams being interested on Giannis Antetokounmpo is natural. After all, the Milwaukee Bucks superstar remains an MVP contender and can carry a team all the way to the end of the season. However, teams must also evaluate how much they are willing to give up to get the Greek Freak.

That is the dilemma the Houston Rockets are dealing with now a month after their interest on the two-time MVP surfaced.

Rockets are reportedly the team that are in the best position to take Antetokounmpo out of Wisconsin that has been home since 2013. This is because of their young good players surplus. They were reportedly ready to include 2024 All-Star Alperen Sengun as part of the deal.

The Western team remains interested but are now thinking twice and it is mostly because of what they need to let go to get him.

“Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo remains a target, team sources said,” Kelly Iko of The Athletic said in his latest piece.

“But there has been recent uncertainty in the past week on Antetokounmpo’s actual availability — not to mention the potential asking price Milwaukee would require.”

Giannis Antetokounmpo can empty teams

Rockets’ reasoning is understandable. Even Milwaukee general manager Jon Horst reportedly said that he will not let his own team go empty handed in this Giannis Saga. He is ready ‘gut’ the team he would deal with for his superstar.

REPORT: Bucks GM Jon Horst is going to “go to go for blood” and prefers to “gut” the team he trades Giannis to if the star requests a trade.

Kevin Durant is another player who declared that anyone who wants the Greek Freak should let go four of their starters and put in six more draft picks.

Rockets can meet the standards set by KD. It is them who will answer if it is worth it.

Carmelo Anthony is another NBA legend who thinks no team can match Antetokounmpo’s worth. Instead, he argued that Giannis is the destination.
