Danny Ings released by West Ham United
With Daniel Cummings signing for West Ham, could Celtic now make a move for free agent Danny Ings?
The Hoops were linked with a swoop for Ings in January, although 67 Hail Hail investigated and found little substance to the speculation.
But Celtic do need a striker and could save millions with the addition of former Liverpool and Aston Villa forward Ings.
Scott Bain joins Falkirk
Former Celtic goalkeeper Scott Bain has signed a one-year contract with Falkirk.
The Bairns have made Bain their first summer signing as they aim to bolster their squad for a successful top-flight campaign.
Bain told the official Falkirk website: “It’s great to be here. The club is very well run and it’s a really great set-up. It’s full of good people, and that’s a part of the reason I wanted to come here.
“I think I can come in and help a bit in terms of experience with the league and with the team’s style of play. I’m really looking forward to working with the squad and the management team.

Melbourne City director of football on Marco Tilio
Melbourne City’s director of football Michael Petrillo wants Celtic winger Marco Tilio to stay in Australia beyond the summer.
Tilio has spent the last two years at City after a failed move to the Hoops in 2023. He helped them win the A-League Grand Finals on Saturday against rivals Melbourne Victory.
Petrillo said: “We’re still negotiating whether he stays another year or goes to Europe. We hope he stays another year.”
Youssef El Kachati confirms Telstar exit
Celtic striker target Youssef El Kachati has once again confirmed he will be leaving newly promoted Eredivise outfit Telstar.
El Kachati was crucial for Telstar last season as his goals propelled them to the Dutch top-flight.
He previously explained that he is ready for a “fantastic” transfer exit, and has now reiterated those sentiments.
The Moroccan said: “I knew this would be my last match in the Telstar shirt. I thought to myself, ‘I’m completely exhausted.’ Even if they have to take me off the field on a stretcher, so be it.
“I had to go to the Eredivisie with those guys.”
