Doomsday West Ham Renewal Fears | It Ain’t Too Bad

At midnight last night, when the season ticket deadline ended, a total of 43,030 West Ham supporters renewed their [London Stadium](https://www.claretandhugh.info/london-stadium-bio/) seats.

With an estimated 48,500 season tickets in circulation, that represents a renewal rate of 88.6%

Last season, 45,037 renewed when the deadline passed, so the new renewal rate is just 2,007 down on the previous season.

There had been fears that many supporters would vote with their feet by not renewing after a poor season, but that was not the case.

Renewal rates have ranged between 88% and 97% since West Ham moved to Stratford in 2016, with last season being around 90%, so just 1.4% down on this time last year.

With 11.4% not renewing, 5,529 season tickets will be available, but 1,800 of these have already been sold when the club offered an additional two season tickets to holders who renewed before 31 March.

The club are confident that the remaining 3,729 season tickets will be snapped up by those on the season ticket waiting list.
