Morton, 22, is facing an uncertain long-term future at Anfield. He has been on the books of the Premier League champions for his whole career to date and rose up through their academy.
The Star report the Blades may target a swoop for him in the transfer window should he become available. Bayer Leverkusen have been linked with a move meaning there is likely to be strong competition for his signature over the next couple of months.
Following the Reds’ title win, Morton took to Instagram to post: “Growing up, I watched this club every chance I got, always by the side of my family. Supporting it wasn’t just about football , it was about sharing something special with the people who’ve supported and cared for me throughout my life. To see the joy on everyone’s faces when we lifted the trophy… it was the proudest moment I’ve ever felt as a footballer. Thank you to everyone for your incredible support, as always. You’ll Never Walk Alone.”

Morton was loaned out for the first time when Blackburn Rovers came calling in 2022 and he went on to play 46 games for the Lancashire outfit. He then linked up with Hull City and made 41 outings for the Tigers under their former manager Liam Rosenior, chipping in with three goals.
Will Sheffield United sign Tyler Morton from Liverpool?
Sheffield United are likely to have to see off interest from other teams to get Morton. It remains to be seen whether he would be willing to drop down a division now amid attention from SUFC.
The Blades have the chance to bring in some new players to boost their squad. They also have the opportunity to let some players leave should they wish to which would help free up space and funds.

Wilder’s men finished 3rd in the table this past term behind Leeds United and Burnley. They then fell at the final hurdle at Wembley.
