West Ham are pursuing a new attacker this summer to end their goal-scoring troubles.
The Hammers only netted 46 times in the Premier League this season, the third-lowest outside of the relegated trio.
As a result, West Ham are believed to be looking at Wycombe striker Richard Kone.
On top of this, Yuri Alberto is also on West Ham’s radar as the London club looks to strengthen its attacking prowess.
However, West Ham’s academy remains strong, and there is every chance that a youngster could put an end to their woes up top.

West Ham’s academy could save Graham Potter’s reign
It is no secret that West Ham are in PSR trouble going into the summer transfer window.
With Graham Potter already under pressure at the Hammers, restricting the Englishman to a sell-to-buy policy could spell his doom.
However, West Ham’s academy could end up saving Potter.
If multiple youngsters such as Sowunmi are able to make the step up into the first team next season, it could save the London club millions.
This would allow Potter to be more selective in the transfer window and spend more on better players.
Hopefully, this strategy is being considered by the West Ham hierarchy now that the market is open.
