Sorry Madrid–Impressive full-back‘expected’to sin with Arsenal this summer

ARSENAL starlet Myles Lewis-Skelly is expected to sign a new Arsenal contract this summer, after establishing himself as a first team regular under boss Mikel Arteta.

The transfer window is now open for a few days and it has been claimed that Real Madrid were rumoured to be poised to poach the versatile 18-year-old after he enjoyed a dazzling breakout campaign, with his deal due to expire at the end of next season.

The Spaniards are looking to revamp the side after a disappointing campaign saw them now win any silverware, and now new boss Xabi Alonso is keen to add players to the side that will improve the defence, and that left-back position is a problem that needs to be solved.

Arsenal higher-ups, though, are not thought to be worried about losing him. Rather, they are confident he will sign a new deal this summer, incentivised with a sizeable pay rise.

However, in a recent interview with Ian Wright for the Premier League, Lewis-Skelly has revealed his full love for Arsenal.

He claimed: “For me personally, I’m a fan of the club, so you’re watching it on TV, going to the games, and in your mind you always wanna get to where they’re at. You’re just playing, you’re just enjoying it and see where it takes you.”

Lewis-Skelly is a player that Arsenal dont want to lose, the lad has shown that he already has the ability to compete against the very best players in world football, and a player that could be even better than Ashley Cole was.

ARSENAL will be in no rush to hand him a new contract as he has 12 months still to go, but we are sure that he will agree that new contract, end all speculation about his immediate future and develop very nicely at the Emirates.

Madrid may be interested but they will not get the lad.
