Wolves supporters experienced all types of emotions throughout the 2024/25 campaign.
In the first 16 matches of the season, many were resigned to relegation under Gary O’Neil, as the Englishman posted just two wins before being sacked.
Wolves were four points adrift in December after losing 2-1 to Ipswich Town, and there were fears they could join one of Leicester City or Southampton in the bottom three.
But once Vitor Pereira was appointed manager, there were instant improvements. Wolves claimed victory in Pereira’s first two games in charge, notably a famous win over Manchester United.
From there, the Portuguese tactician masterminded their route to survival, which included six consecutive wins between March and April. Now, as fans look forward to another Premier League campaign, one announcement will delight the Wanderers faithful.

Premier League clubs keep £30 cap for away tickets
An announcement emerged on Tuesday that Premier League clubs have voted to keep the £30 cap on away ticket prices for the 2025/26 season.
It will be the 10th campaign the cap has been in place and, since its introduction, attendances at away games have risen from 82% to 91%, as per BBC Sport.
A Premier League statement read: “Clubs recognise the additional costs associated with fans following their team during the season, and the incredible atmospheres they create at matches”.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
This is excellent news for Wolves fans, who have protested against pricing in the past, most notably Fosun’s decision to raise season ticket pricing ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.
The Premier League is seen as the best and most competitive league on the planet, with this ticket pricing scheme underlining why away games are affordable for regular match goers.

Wolves 2025/26 season ticket picing
Some supporters will bemoan how expensive some parts of the ground are, but the pricing is about average for a Premier League club.
Hopefully, Wolves can make some quality signings to build excitement for the new campaign and push towards the top half.
