Wrexham are interested in Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Tommy Doyle this summer.
The transfer window has only been open for a few days, but Wrexham are already being linked with plenty of names.
A move for Christian Eriksen has been mooted this week, with the Manchester United midfielder commenting on his future amid transfer interest.
After Eriksen, it emerged that the Red Dragons are eyeing a second Premier League midfielder.
Unlike the Dane, who would be available for nothing, Wrexham want Tommy Doyle from Wolves, and he could set them back around £3m.
The Welsh side face competition from recently promoted Sunderland and Championship play-off finalists Sheffield United for his signature.

Wrexham need pace and power, and Wolves players bring that
Doyle is a proven Premier League midfielder and would add yet more pace and power to the club’s midfield.
Parkinson has outlined what Wrexham need in the market already this summer, saying: “The quality level goes up.

“Power and pace are key. You look at the physical data and it jumps from League Two to League One, but then it goes up again (in the Championship), certainly in high-speed running and the sprint distance and the power of the players. We need to be ready for that.”
Doyle would certainly offer that, but there is another Wolves player who is available this summer who would offer the same physical presence in another area of the pitch.
The man in question is Hwang Hee-Chan, who The Athletic have reported Wolves will listen to offers for and could consider a loan move for the attacker.

Hwang Hee-Chan would offer something different to Wrexham attack
After an initial loan spell from RB Leipzig, Hwang Hee-Chan joined Wolves permanently in 2022.
He is a versatile striker whose pace makes him a real nightmare for Premier League defenders.
The 29-year-old would be by far and away the quickest attacker on Wrexham’s books, with his ability to also operate on the wing seeing him develop quick feet and the ability to run at backlines to great effect.
Hwang has been left ‘upset’ by the 2024/25 season, in which he played just 649 minutes of league football, but he has insisted, as per the Express and Star, that he remains ‘a good player and I never give up’ – the kind of mindset Parkinson looks for in potential signings.
In total, he has 24 Premier League goals and eight assists to his name for Wolves.
