Fixtures, draws, tours: Dates for your 25/26 diary

After the conclusion of the 2024/25 campaign, excitement has already started to build for the 2025/26 men's campaign.

With so much to look forward to in the new season, we've put together all the key dates you need to know for the upcoming campaign, including fixture announcements, transfer windows and much more.

Pre-Season Tour

Our pre-season tour sees us head to the far east for three matches ahead of the 2025/26 season.

We start against AC Milan at the National Stadium, in Singapore, on July 23. Kick-off is at 12.30pm BST (7:30pm local time). We follow that up by facing Newcastle United on July 27, which is also taking place at the National Stadium at 12.30pm BST.

We then head to Hong Kong to finish our tour against Tottenham Hotspur on July 31, at 12.30pm (7:30pm local time). The match will take place at Kai Tak Sports Park.

transfer windows

The first part of summer transfer window opened on Sunday, June 1, and closes on Tuesday, June 10. This gives teams playing in the FIFA Club World Cup the chance to sign players before the tournament begins, but all Premier League clubs can still trade during that time.

The second part will then open on Monday, June 16 and close at 7pm BST on Monday, September 1, for Premier League clubs.

The winter transfer window will open on Thursday, January 1, 2026, before closing on Monday, February 2, 2026.

Domestic Football

The fixtures for the 2025/26 Premier League season will be announced on Wednesday, June 18, at 9am BST. A selection of first-round games will be televised, with the opening match of the season taking place on Friday, August 15.

Our Premier League campaign will finish on Sunday, May 26, with all 10 fixtures kicking off at the same time.

The 2025/26 Carabao Cup first round will kick off the week commencing Monday, August 11, 2025. Due to our participation in the UEFA Champions League, we will enter the third round of the competition. The final will take place at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, March 22, 2026.

Our FA Cup journey will begin in the third round. The details for the competition will be confirmed in due course.

European Football

We qualified for the UEFA Champions League for a third successive season in 2024/25, meaning we will automatically go into the league phase of the competition.

The draw will take place on Thursday, August 28, 2025, where we will find out the eight teams we will face in the opening stage.

The league phase matches will take place on September 16-18, September 30-October 1, October 21-22, November 4-5, November 25-26, December 9-10, January 20-21 and January 28.

The draw for the knockout play-offs rounds will be carried out on January 30, 2026, with the two legs taking place on February 17-18 and February 24-25.

Following that, the draw for the round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals and final will all be held on February 27, 2026.

The round of 16 matches will occur on March 10-11 and March 17-18. Quarter-final matches will be held on April 7-8 and April 14-15, before the semi-finals on April 28-29 and May 5-6. The final will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Puskas Arena, in Budapest, Hungary.

International Breaks

Following the international break between June 2-10, 2025, three more are scheduled in 2025 between September 1-9, October 6-14 and November 10-18. The Africa Cup of Nations will take place between December 21, 2025 - January 18. 2026, but there will be no break in domestic football for the tournament.

The last international break during the 2025/26 season then takes place between March 23-31. All eyes will then be on the FIFA World Cup in the USA, Mexico and Canada, which gets underway on June 11.
